| On June 25, 2019, the European Commission issued a new Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) Regulation (EU) 2019/1021, which replaced the previous (EC) No 850/2004. The new POPs regulation was released on July 2019. Effective on the 15th. Co***ring (EC) No 850/2004, (EU) 2019/1021 has added two new items, Decabromodiphenyl Ether and Pentachlorophenol (***) and its salts and esters, in Part A of Annex I Prohibited Substances List; So far, the European Union List of prohibited substances under POPs regulations. |
